Because he was so desperate to save people from hell he had his own son die a gruesome death. Someone that dedicated to the cause of preventing people from going to hell would certainly find that trivial compared to what he has already done, and he knows it could save the souls and strengthen the faith of millions.
No, because that would take away choice. Also, it would mean you would know there's a God and then you would have to make a decision, no more sitting on your hands.

Doesn't seem to be particular interested in "choice", going by the narrative. Tell you what though, you go ahead and "choose" not to believe. Make the attempt. I'll try to "choose" to believe. We'll report back with our respective experiences, eh? 
There's something pervesely satisfying in seeing a person use the word "choice" : meant to convey the concept of some sort of responsibility.....as a weasel word absolving god -of- responsibility. Go right ahead, mind you, that's just food for thought.

This is a justification for a sky hero.
In science, in reality, BOTH choice and others affecting you overlap.
What you are doing without realizing it is nothing more than "I like what I believe, and if everyone would simply buy it, the world would be better"
That is gap filling. It is merely a placebo excuse to justify our tribalism. The alpha male does not like challenge to it's position.

Nothing...well evidence and to the contrary points to alternate universes but whats the point though...
i mean you can't go to one because there is always a minor difference that can and will kill you.

The part believers don't like to face, is that what we do not currently know, our data is showing that a cognition for "all this" is not required in any case.
Humans evolutionary survival and gap filling and ignorance is what leads to real group survival. The problem is that we far to much confuse our success as making our superstitions real.
I see "all this" as a result of a natural process, no different than the seasons changing. Our species cognition isn't the result of a god. But an outcome of nature.
