I get that, but breast feeding is eating.  We all eat in public, and I can't imagine a more appropriate place to eat than a restaurant.  If babies eating bothers you don't look.  I've never seen a woman trying to be seen breast feeding.  Mostly we try not to be seen.

A mother doesn't go out of her way to breast-feed in public, and babies aren't exactly known for respecting the mom's schedules. It is a lot more bothersome for the mom than the people around her, still it is something a mother must do. It is totally normal, and those who find something obscene in this, should be ashamed of their own dirty minds.

You must not live in an area where a lot of women seem to do everything but put a giant flashing marquee above their head to indicate they have their breast far more exposed than need be for the baby to comfortably nurse and have positioned themselves for maximum visibility of those around them. They are either A. Seeking attention from other attention seekers who want to "commend" them for doing a natural thing billions of women do/have done -OR- B. want someone to be outraged and say something negative so they can go on social media and complain they were "victimized today for breastfeeding". I see it a lot where I live. You hardly notice the "normal" women who's kid is simply hungry and needs to be fed. The ones who aren't using their baby as some kind of political platform, even if they are feeding it in public, are usually somewhat discreet about it.

Not my body. I have no problem with public breastfeeding.

If I were a breastfeeding woman, my only reservations would be about teenage/preteen boys.

When I was 13, if a woman whipped out her boobies around me, even if there was a baby attached to them I would be rapt. Wouldn't be able to take my eyes off.

I would probably laugh about it if I were the mom though.

Speak for you own experiences. They may not go out of their way to breast-feed in public, but it gets more and more common in every place. Without any secrecy. And, as I said, I don't have any problem with it, unless it's in a restaurant.

Why would it need secrecy exactly? It's not something immoral or hurts anyone. Asking a mother to not feed her hungry child because a pervert may get perverted thoughts is pretty much the same as those barbarians in the middle east keeping their women in potato-sacks (read burkhas) to avert perverted gazes.
