And, to be honest, does the church not offer guidance to those in power?  If the church was truly so holy and so opposed to war, since Jesus was such a pacifist, then would the church not offer advice and guidance in such a way that war was avoided?

The church has forever been corrupted, from within.

Ancient history, my dear. You believe what you want about the church and the religion of men and of atheists.... but God hasn't weighed in Himself on anything yet. People either do God's will, or they don't. No church or religion is going to save anyone from justice.

I believe everyone is in for a surprise. Everyone.

Why? Facts never bothered him before.

Would you settle for me despising your butchery of the English language? Punctuation and grammar . . . these things matter.

Boy when did we become every Catholic missionary's favorite internet destination? Christ, I think wRongadee is fully able to do his own blustering without any help from Thedetester. Unless you're willing to speak only for yourself and recognize you don't speak for your entire church, go away.

And please get over your butt hurt that we don't value something you hold so dear. We're here. We're god-free. And we like it that way. If you're not ready to take up a conversation which begins by recognizing and respecting our differences you're just not really welcome here.
