Hey I'm still working on it. Since I became vegetarian people would ridicule me "Why are you vegetarian blah, blah, blah" but over the years those people got cancers and one by one as they got cancer suddenly would switch to vegetarian diet and blenders and juices would suddenly pop up in their kitchens, because doctors tell them "Stay off meat."
There is a really good documentary on how toxic food has become for human body. " Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" follows charming Australian guy who is fat and sick, he has really serous immunological disease for which he has to take large amount of pills every day. So he decides to start eating right by going across US, talking with regular people about what they eat while he is on a strict vegan (squeezed fresh juice) diet and in course of 2 months you can see him not only get fit but also completely healthy again. And not just him he also meets another fat and sick guy who gets healed the same way.
Documentary is available on youtube but some links are not abailable in all countries

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Any of you familiar with wrestling might know Austin Aries. He's a vegan (at least last time I checked). Just throwing it out there
Some people seem to think vegans are automatically weaklings. I'm a weakling, though.

Hehe, I was just poking you a little, I don't judge, lol - work those cattle for every ounce! I doubt doctors told them "lay off the meat". More likely, "lay off the red meat, and this, and that, and put more of this in, and more of that in, and get some exercise while you're at it". Cutting meat out of your diet, in-and-of itself, is unlikely to do anything at all. Cheetos aren't made of meat. French fries aren't made of meat.

This is where it just gets weird. We watch someone change their entire lifestyle......but for whatever reason, we fixate on a single thing and say "It healed him, and this other guy too". Yeah, no. Becoming a vegetarian isn't going to heal anyone of anything. Cheetos and french fries are, just to mention them again, as vegetarian as it gets. It's not gonna make a person sick, ofc...and it could be a healthier diet than the person is currently on - but it's not as though a healthy diet can't or doesn't include meat. The veggie thing is trendy though, trendy enough to make a documentary industry out of it. You don't see quite as much on people who eat all the usual shit were familiar with, but in the proper portions. Just doesn't sell DVDs. : shrugs :

An Chinese acquaintance of mine informs me that a modern colloquial Chinese expression for a person who is unaggressive, undiligent, or incompetent in his profession translates to "vegan" or "vegetarian". Similarly a go getter is called a carnivore.
So don't tell a Chinese person you are a vegan or a vegetarian.
