Tell me again, why do you think we won't get rid of religion?
So your explanation for these rates 150 years after Darwin? How about the fact that education does not have much to do with it? I think it was Nietzsche who thought that religion would be gone in a generation or two.

It's not hard to understand, it just doesn't follow. This is my brain, braining "better". See...it doesn't always pan out the way you expect. I'm contending the same with regards to religiosity and god belief. If our brains were "better" at braining..they would be even better at religiosity and god belief...they would not, as you hope...make us less religious, or make for fewer believers.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Nietzsche was a philosopher. Not a prophet, not a scientist, and not alive in the 21st century.
Yes, Darwin happened. Yes, scientists overwhelmingly are not believers. That doesn't mean anything. People weren't as exposed to these ideas until the internet came along. And it's still a work in progress, but it will happen eventually.

I didn't mean anything by it. Maybe you should stop being so sensible about words.

I don't know what you mean. How we think and what we think is part and parcel of the question of god belief.

I'm trying to get you to admit you think you're special somehow. That I'm special. That us atheists in general are some sort of special breed of people that can see through the God delusion(pun intended) and religious folks are not.
That's what follows, given these two facts. We're both atheists. You believe people will always be religious.

Evolution has been taught for generations now. Yet the rates aren't slowing. I will say, you do have faith...despite evidence to the contrary. Hmm, that sounds familiar...

Let's stay on point and keep it simple. We're talking about belief here. I'm saying we can free people from their religious dogmatism and help them embrace a freer mindset. You say we can't. Tell me why not.
