And yes, sometimes it may happen that you let them play somewhere where no one keeps an eye on what's happening, which you shouldn't do to begin with to avoid those kinds of situations, but then you don't need to get unnecessarily graphic about what might happen to them and inadvertently traumatize them anyway. Thus my comment about how she might've overdone it.
This is getting on my fucking nerves. You're arguing against something I didn't necessarily say. Maybe you should pay closer attention to what I did say. I said she was overdoing it, for example, not blaming her for doing it at all, which I should and I am, albeit to a lesser degree, but I didn't and we didn't get around to that yet, until just now.
it's impossible to always keep an eye on your children. It would mean following them for the first 12 years of their life, It's common for children of 11 or 12 to take public transport on their own and be miles away from parents and go where they want.
Thena said she told her kids precisely what happens (without being too graphic) about what happens when children are kidnapped.
So now you're saying well that might be over doing it because it might be too graphic, well she specifically said she explained it without being too graphic.
So you're arguing about something which was specifically already dealt with in the first post which you were replying to.
Because he's trying to use word salad and backtracking to get out of the corner he's been backed into, due to his extremely shitty advice.

Do you think children deserve a little chill out time not having to worry about global warming, sex, drugs, death, religion and money?
Or just teach them everything you know right away.
Surely most people would say the best way is somewhere inbetween total insulation from the real world while at the same time not telling them all the mentally disturbing facts about the world too soon?
I don't have kids, but someday if/when I do...I'd like to teach them about life in this world, and not only my worldview, but other's worldviews, at age appropriate times. So they can understand as the topics relate to their lives, at their ages. Most importantly, I would want them to become compassionate and understanding, and not just knowledgeable about various topics.

If you can't afford to bring up your kids in a safe environment you shouldn't have them to begin with. Otherwise you're just risking them dying because of your own negligence and to make things worse, fucking them up in the process of trying to get around that.
Statistics matter. Where you live matters. The crime rate matters. Your own means matter. All of these things matter when planning to have and raise a child.
The way she said it implied she was graphic, so graphic even as to feel the need to point out she was not too graphic, which seems graphic enough to raise concerns. Is there anything else?

Why are you talking about safe environments and why does someone saying one thing imply to you that the actual situation must have been the opposite it of what they were actually saying?
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Why are you talking about safe environments and why does someone saying one thing imply to you that the actual situation must have been the opposite it of what they were actually saying? You seem to lack nuance when it suits you. Or maybe you just lack it, end of story. Either way, I couldn't possibly have this conversation if we're going to talk past each other. So might as well end it right here.

I as a person lack nuance or my argument lacks it or are you saying I can't see the nuance in your argument?
All I did was ask two simple questions what does that have to do with my personal nuances?
If you say something then I ask about what you just said then we aren't talking past each other I can guarantee it.
