Do you ever get doubts like "what if there is a God?"

What if there was a god and he took the appearance of people who had been oppressed?  So for slave owners he appeared as a slave they had oppressed and beaten.  And for the Spanish he appeared as the Indians they had killed off and so forth.  That would certainly freak the religious nuts out, wouldn't it?

a little presumptuous don't you think? In that you think you know what the second death is? Death here in this life is the ceasing of cognitive thought and the termination of biological life. But the question should be, is this what the second death is or is limited to? Scripture describes something else. There is a reason why many believe Hell is eternal torment, because in part that is what the bible describes Hell to be, (for satan and his angels) but at the same time Jesus Himself says it is where the soul is destroyed.

Now what Jesus said, did not include a time limit on how long this destruction/death would take. Think RotJ and the Great Pit of Carkoon (where the sarlacc digests his victims over thousands of years.) Death is most likely not immediate. I have it on pretty good authority/It is my thought that you will 'simmer' in Hell based on how you lived your life. And once the evil is burned away then what's left is also consumed by hell fire. Meaning your sanity is finally consumed, and either what's left is burned up or is further burned won't really matter much any more.

 Yes it does, Matt. 25:46 "And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life." The word eternal is the same in the Greek that's being applied to punishment and life. So if one is eternal both must be.

Jesus said that there are no marriages in heaven.  People will spent all of their time telling God what a wonderful creature he is.  There's no time for hanky panky.

Yeah. Jesus said that there is no marriage in heaven. That doesn't mean that we won't have intimate relations in heaven. The bible doesn't tell us much. Since heaven is far superior to earth, it seems to me that whatever we have there is better than sex; or we may have sex. We just don't know. We do know that we will be in bodies, which would result in us having physical pleasures I would think. Whatever it is, it's not the sleazy garbage that might come into your mind. It will be good and pure.

I personally don't see appeal in being servant who thanks lord for everything and forgets about his own wishes.
