You know I am still trying to do the whole "bi-location" /"trans -location" thingy...I just can't get the hang of it.. It would have been good to get some NC clay under my nails...ahhhh getting down and dirty...

This will be a good thing...what happened to the 'Gardening Thread'??? I was looking to post all my endeavours there. Don't knock the rain baby girl...here in Perth it seems to NEVER rain and we are on rationing and desalinated water...bleh If yo don't have a filtering system for your drinking water you suffer from dehydration and all it's glorious effects....dumb stoopid god!

He's a gentleman, don't worry. He even opens and closes the car door for me. o_O Talk about service!
I'm only hmphing because it ALWAYS rains on the days I have off, plus I was going to weedwhack the rest of the yard today. Oh well...planting and weeding instead! The mints are OUT OF FUCKING CONTROL!
Don't wish for the NC clay...going to get my nails done later and they all scold me horrendously there.... Better wear gloves today...

meh...be happy for the rain...besides, you won't dissolve. Mints ALWAYS grow out of control. Care is needed that they don;t cross pollinate as you will loose the individual sub-species

I was born and raised on what is called "Wianamatta shale" here and in particular "Cow Pastures" lovely soil..... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wianamatta_shale
stickyest bloody soil you could imagine ...I don't doubt that the "clay" you are dealing with is of a similar nature... I do miss my old stomping ground. You should ALWAYS wear gloves!! If only to stop those nasty spiders from giving you a nip. I could mention Thistles couldn't I??

Humans are entitled to rights? Hehe... good joke.
And speciesism as well... what a quaint post.

The star we orbit infact will not supernova (too small, i think?). However, it will still burn all the life here away by the end

This is one of those things that douglas adams would call 'somebody elses problem' or an SEP.
