ALL Sunni Muslims have the potential to go the route the orlando shooter did. He was the son of naturalized citizens, that found himself torn between culture and his faith. His allegiance to the culture cause a riff in his faith that his faith's remedy was to wage war/die in service to his faith. Which he did.

Again, not everyone will go his route, but the problem I am trying to out line is the path he took is indeed supported by what he believes and with the channel nine report as supporting evidence, his faith's leadership also believes and supports the destruction of evil that they identify in homosexuality.

It's supported by what -you- believe too, dimwit. As I said, it's a choice you make every day.

I'm sorry are you not a citizen of western culture? Do you not understand that ISIS is purging western control/influenced countries and leaders out of the middle east? Or are you of the Obama camp and simply refuse to take ISIS at their word, that they are indeed waging a holy war against the west?

That Sunni Muslims support jihad in all forms against the west. As it is one of the 3 practice forms of worship in Islam.. (It is the one that holds the greatest value to their god in their after life.) This is the problem we have in america, not confused radicals who hate gay people, but an organized religion waging war against our culture on several fronts. This particular guy just simply switched fronts. Which beggs the question how many more will switch fronts before we can rightly identify the problem?

Believers in islam are no more consistent in their own beliefs than you are, so assuming that war against the west actually was an article of the muslim faith...which it isn't.....I still wouldn't lose much sleep over it.

Currently there are three excepted ways a Devout sunni mulsim is allowed to full fill their version of the great commission (the reason they are here/serve their god)

1) sit down with a non believer and reason with him and convert him to islam.

2) move into an area and out populate the indigenous people.

3) Jihad. Kill all infidels in a region and take it in the name of Alah.

Remember their's is a charge of complete world domination. Meaning their God has charged them with turning the planet over to islam.

The question is often asked why are 2nd and 3 generation Muslims the one being radicalized???
If you look from a western perspective most can not come up with a reason.

however if you look at a young man or woman's world view through the lens of these 3 accepted ways to live and be awarded an after life, one can begin to see why the turn to jihad.

Imagine representing OT judaism (what most of you think Christianity is) or if you know enough about islam then Imagine trying to sell an oppressive anti culture religion to anyone let alone a westernized or worse yet a native born free spirited woman.

Because again if you can't sell this religion successfully then you next peaceful option is to out breed the indigiousness people. But here's the problem the 2nd and 3rd gen migrants are running into, if a similarly 2nd or 3rd generation woman is properly westernized, you are not going to get her back into one of those head to toe black tents. Guy's seem to love Islam a whole lot more than the women do for some reason..

So if you can't find a suitable mate to get with Islam's breeding program.. then a devout believer only has option left open to him..

Read the koran, there is no old and new testament. all of it applies. If you are a devout believer.

The danger of fundamentalist religious belief is not limited to any particular belief set within that larger group.  Fundy muslims blow up nightclubs, fundy christians blow up abortion clinics.  Fundy muslims babble about allahs laws, fundy christians cast yahwehs vote. They aren't dangerous, in either case, because they are christian or muslim, but because they're fundy nutjobs.  

That's why I don't worry about you, point of fact.  Your not a literalist who truly believes. The worst I expect of you is to say silly shit, and by and large, that's the worst I expect of any particular muslim.
