RE: I wish I had yall on Facebook

I come from a very religious family . Pentecostal and Catholic. I work at a church affiliated health care facility. I am not hidden as an atheist but I learned early in life not to discuss religion at the dinner table. My friends and family - We all eat a lot. Food is a shared experience. Not bragging but we have more than one institute trained chef, sommeliers, and real good home cooks. No use mucking up all that earthly splendor with politics and religion. Facebook is like arguing with my family as everyone receives some update. I prefer the forum format. Then I get to eat in peace. Last week I made a chocolate sponge cake and made it into a roll with chocolate truffle filling and a ganache glaze. There was a nice Shiraz. Friday at work there is a fundraiser for a children's charity (secular) with filet mignon. Anonymity has it's benefits.
God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!

I have about 10 people I'd consider my close "friends too far to meet" from AF on there. Mostly what I post is stuff about narcissism (some of which is about my ex), inspiring quotes, a few atheist-related memes just to tick off some of my xian friends and the occasional update from school. Other than that I don't get on it much anymore. I have a close friend who is always posting stuff in support of Drumph but when I see her (she lives down the street) I will not talk politics or religion with her. Especially after she's been drinking.

So it's easy to piss off x-tians on facebook.
That's the most tempting offer I've had to join so far. :-)

I often feel like saying y'all instead of you all because nobody would understand what I say in real life - youse.
So instead of saying, 'what are you all doing at the moment?', I would say, 'What are youse all up ta?'

Anyone who says "you all" or "ya'll" will most likely get funny looks up here.

I dislike "youse"
My ex said that shit.
"Y'all" is acceptable if preceded by "Florence".... "you all" is fine and I say it all the time.
