'Tis a mood thing for me. Until a couple of weeks ago I hadn't had seafood in years, literally -- five, maybe six, I don't care enough to count. Had a gal come over and cook for me, we wanted company more than food so decided on simple, and she made perhaps the best shrimp Scampi I've ever had.

Not the best company, but goddamn that was some good eatin'.

tsk tsk tsk...
In Portugal there are restaurants dedicated to shellfish - shrimp, tiger prawn, crayfish, lobster, spider crab, brown crab... and a few other specialties...
Now, the part you may like... these restaurants usually have tanks where they keep the beasties alive and you can pick out which one you want to eat.


Personally, I'm more of a beef person, too.... but I won't say no to those sea bugs!

I boil shrimp all the time with crab legs and chipotle peppers I dash of sazón Goya...pour the result over nice hot Mexican fried rice. Mmm my stomach is growling now

I hear y'all are talking about seafood. I have barely eaten seafood but I really want to eat lobster, it sounds and looks delicious. However I've somewhere eaten half a boiled egg with some kind of creamy cream on it and a shrimp on top it was delicious.
