Wrong, science is based upon experimental observations that are replicable.  It doesn;t matter whether or not someone else saw it, if no one else sees it when they do the same thing.  In fact, it doesn't matter that almost everyone sees it...if a single person doesn't.  That's the -entire- point of peer review and replication.

I have a number of times, and people either aren't reading very carefully, or trying to read between the lines or just like to argue..... I'm tired and think I'm done, unless someone wants to start actually address what I said, instead of arguing against thei assumptions

Lol, omg, Rhythm.  I've been around these parts for almost a year now (which I know isn't a very long time compared to some of you), but stuff like this still shocks me.  I can see how the veteran members get burn out after years and years.  I wonder why it is that some people can come to the understanding on their own, and others...you can hit them over the head with it endlessly to no avail...[emoji848]

Yup...I;m a burnout now, when I joined I was exhaustive and would consider even the most ridiculous proposition at length and in detail with the patience of a hindu cow - which got me my massive pile of kudos and some member awards.  

Now I just point and luagh most of the time...snipe at the most absurd of statements...and hope, against all odds, that this might at least engender the tiniest bit of fucking introspection on the part of the advocate of idiocy.

It never does...btw.   Just to shit in your cereal.

If you understand a scientific theory and have the correct apparatus, you can go test it for yourself. Seriously. You think no one has though of that? You think it's a coincidence the world is running on the results of these carefully calculated results? Is there some conspiracy where everyone who does an experiment is taken away in an unmarked van before they can tweet about it?

I find it hard to believe anyone has so little idea of what science is.

I think he jumped the gun and insinuated something without thinking all of its implications through, and now he'd prefer to stand by it to the point of absurdity rather than admit he made a mistake. At least, I HOPE that's the case.

I don't.  RR clearly belongs to a sect that makes it it's bread and butter to misrepresent, ignore, or wholly shit upon whatever their opposition actually -is- or may be (which is redundant, I suppose, with calling him a christian).
