Really, why wouldn't it be best to fill your immortal life with non-stop sex? I;d have as much sex as possible even if I thought I was an immortal, hell..I'd probably have more sex than I do now. There have been alot of questionable girls I passed on, for fear of my mortal life.
I'm just wondering what unspoken metric you omitted in that statement, up above. You spoke of "our priority" as though you and I, and indeed all human beings, have some specific priority, kindly lay that priority out? Then, and only then, will we be able to see whether or not sex diverts us from -our- priorities, lol.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Sexual life is a natural thing like drinking eating, sleeping and so on.
The problem arise when you confuse something natural that is needed with a priority of life.
The priority of every human being is to get out the hole of physicality and materialism.
Nothing really to do with carrying on with human beings needs.
I am 57 and divorced. My priority is to break even before I die and have as much of that scarce commodity called sex. I am not seeking counsel from yogis and other twits. I am merely conversing with you, Little Rik, because I find it amusing to poke fun at your flaccid philosophy.
That is bizarre chimp because it is me that..........poke fun at your flaccid philosophy.......
Actually atheism is not even a philosophy.
It is a togetherness of dogmas (unproven so called truth that are turned into real truth without evidence).
Never mind chimp if we both enjoy the fun why to stop?

You can't get it Rit, do you?
Physically speaking our energy is limited.
Once we exhausted our reserve of energy we may even die or at best we have to wait for our body to
recover.
Our body is not immortal that is why we should use it the best possible way.
A bit like food.
If you exhaust your food reserve in short time there is nothing for the next time.
Beside humans have 3 features.
One is the body, one the mind and one the spiritual part.
Suppose you travel in a cart pulled by 3 horses.
The best way to do it would be to feed all 3 horses equally so all 3 have enough strength to pull the cart.
If one or two of the horses are not fed properly the cart can not possibly go straight and disaster will
occur.
This is the priority that I am talking about mate.
It is for the simple reason that we humans are not only physical beings that our priority is to look at all aspects of our self.

Bold mine. If you'd have stopped there, you'd have been correct.
Atheism has no dogma, it is a single stance on a single isolated issue. You insist atheists follow what you think atheist dogma should be. It's your dogma. You mean naturalists, of course. I've told you many times. But you won't be honest enough to say naturalists.
Not to mention atheism is, by default, a lack of belief. Not a belief to the contrary. And not a truth claim, either. I think you should put air quotes round it when you say "atheist" because your definition is different to everyone else's. You're arguing with an imaginary atheist who does everything you want him to.

Are you kidding me Roberto?
How can you say that......... atheism is, by default, a lack of belief........when in reality most atheists keep on saying so called unproven truth?
The consciousness is a product of the brain.
When we die is all over.
We are what we are because of the evolution of the species.
There is no God no karma no reincarnation.
Science (your physical science) is the only thing that produce progress.
Rob these are statements that carry real beliefs not a lack of it as you say and I have heard them countless of times in this forum.
Why do you deny that?

You're right...I absolutely don't get it.

Just three? Not two, not four, five being right out?

So, no priority of mine, ergo no priority of ours, therefore no priority of all human beings. Next.

Wrong again Rit.
It is a fact that human beings are not happy with what they got.
If they would be happy and in peace with themselves they would not look all the time for something
new and something repetitive.
Why did you discard your box monitor and your box tv.
They were still working isn't it Rit but you wanted new technologies all the time.
Why you come on the forum?
If you are happy as you are you should not go in search for new mental stimulation.
Can't you see how wrong you are?
The call to always search for something new come from within not from your physical body that
is why it is important to look at all aspect of ourselves included what is not physical.

Okay, you seem to be confusing "some atheists say..." with "atheists say..."
Do I need to explain the difference between those two statements to you? Do you really not understand, or are you ruthlessly dishonest, so much so you don't even realise you're doing it anymore?
