Somebody reassure me that Pence won't win against a demonized Clinton.
Pence who is:
Anti-choice
Pro death penalty
Anti UN
Pro secret police
Anti weed
Pro gun
Anti education standards
Pro fossil fuel
Anti marriage equality
Pence policy positions
The far right wishlist. Unfortunately, he'll always be the nobody who played second fiddle.....to trump.

I don't think anyone knows, actually. We may be on the verge of something historic, especially if tomorrow's debate goes badly for him.

Yup, it'll be hard to distance himself from Trump. Trump picked him for a reason. He just spent an entire debate lying his ass off about Trump. Plus, if Pence does anything but stay on the ticket as Trump's VP, he'll turn the rabid dogs against himself. Pence poisoned himself by agreeing to be Trump's running mate.
It's an unenviable position to be in, politically, and it couldn't have happened to a better regressive shit stain.

Trump isn't going to willingly step down. If you think he is, then you still don't get him. He's an egotist. He's said several times that he's not stepping down. And it's all up to him. The Republican Party can't take him down, barring... as Trump himself would put it 'a second amendment solution'
At this point, I think a Trump assassination is the only way the Republicans win the Presidency:
SCENARIO 1: Trump steps down of his own volition.
He's not going to do this, but let's say for sake of argument he does. His supporters become disillusioned with the whole process. Many of them won't vote--and Mike Pence is a nobody. Most people have no idea who he is beyond some bigot who signed a bill that discriminates against Gay people. There's not enough time for him to brand himself, and he'd have to adopt many of Trump's positions--NOT doing so would mean he'd have to explain why he went along with Trump to begin with. And I think from the VP debate, we see that he can't really defend many of Trump's positions.
Scenario 2: Republican Party forces Trump to step down.
His supporters would riot. That's losing a lot of the base in an instant. It wont' be made up by moderates who don't like Hillary, but hate Trump more.
Scenario 3: Trump dies.
Trump is assassinated, and suddenly the Republicans are sympathetic. They blame it on Hillary and the Democrats, and they probably manage to win the election. At least if people buy that narrative, and don't start to wonder if Republicans had it done. Most likely NOT to happen, because a lone wolf probably wouldn't get it done, and even the Republicans know they're fucked royally if they're caught.

As an outside observer, as it were, looking at hetero mores and such, that certain women over the age of 18 'enjoy' being groped in their 'pussy' regions by the likes of alpha males such as Trumple, what am I to think about this brouhaha in regards therefore, because in my own peer group where such goings on have either been committed by myself, or I myself have willingly encouraged their commitment on my person ??
In other words, your vorlon has been as much of a pig as Trumple, and as much as a 'bimbo' (for lack of better terminology) as whomever he was apparently referring to.
And I have certainly engaged in repeated coarse descriptives and objectifyings of any number of hot menz. Even at AF in other threads.

Thank you, I feel less stressed.

Not that it would be acceptable in a 19 year old jockey there. No matter what he may say in his defense that's not locker room banter.
Locker room banter: She's got a nice ass! I want to get me some of that! etc. Still objectifying, but not damning.
What he said was that he was able to use his status to force his sexual desire on women. That's not typical locker room banter at all

But Trump is there. He is named as the candidate for President and Pence is the candidate for Vice President. If he quits, is removed, or is killed it doesn't change the ballot in those states and, I'm pretty sure most states have already prepared their ballots as most states have some form of early voting.
A vote for the ticket of Trump/Pence elects Trump. The GOP does not dictate to the states how they run elections.
Here, as an example, is a sample of the Arizona ballot. We expect them in the mail next week. There is no way they can be pulled back and redone at this point.

My hypothetical becomes less plausible.
There would have to be some sort of civil behavior by Trump to agree to not take office if elected, the electorate would have to be so informed and to trust him enough to vote that ticket.
Not happening.

The problem isn't that Trump is a pig and some women are, indeed, bimbos. The problem is consent. "Grab 'em by the pussy!" is the headline, but the meat of the recording is him bragging about doing things to women without their consent. Treating them only like prey to be devoured/conquered. Which is pretty fucked up, if you ask me.
Guys brag and talk shit all the time. It crosses the line when it becomes glorifying sexual assault. I don't care if people do whatever they want to get their jollies, so long as all parties involved give their consent.
