Quote: once a person receives saving grace their whole life changes. They begin to do their best to follow the teachings of Christ and living an obedient life. Your assuming everyone that 'receives grace' makes a a wholehearted attempt to learn much less follow the teachings. Well I don't really think I am just assuming that, scripture teaches that the fruit of the spirit are a necessary result of saving grace. He may be assuming that the Bible is accurate, but it's fairly clear that it states that fruit will follow righteousness or it's not righteous.
"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post

well unlike alot of the claims in the bible this is something which can currently be studied and its plain as day not going to be true
OK so let's get this straight. You're claiming that the Bible doesn't say that the fruit of the spirit are a necessary result of saving grace? Or is it something else you are trying to "currently study" and finding "is plain as day not going to be true"?

I dont understand the connection you all are making either. agreed to misunderstand i guess.
Here I'll make it simple answer:
1-Are you stating that the Bible doesn't say that the fruit of the spirit are a necessary result of saving grace?
