This is the problem though isn't it? How can we sincerely have a soul longing for his love if we don't believe he exists in the first place? At best we would have to pretend and by your standards that simply wouldn't work.
Yes this is a massive problem, was for me too!
But God did design every Soul with a spark for that desire that one can grow!
It is that spark that all man have that created religion in the first place, "seek out God!"
Our belief systems are in our Soul, they enter us with an emotion attached to it, once in the Soul it is very hard to unravel them!
Common beliefs of God are tied up with all the irrational beliefs we faced with growing up! There is a lot of anger, fear, and mistrust and resentment associated with it!
For example, myself I hated God, and I did not really believe in him because of the Christian faith, also my father was brought up in boarding school and he was very poorly treated by the nuns, so I adopted his emotions from a child! He hates the thought of God!
I had to release a lot of anger by expressing it, and it was deep!
Took me nearly 2 months to get passed that, anger came up I never felt before! Been in my Soul all my life! Had to experience it all, without projecting it to others!
But now I can talk about God without a problem! Actually I feel proud to talk of her! And that is very new for me, Hance being here now!

Actually the human Soul is designed to affect everything around us, in a way i'm still trying to get my head around!
Look at the mess in the world that is the effect of the collective Soul condition of man!
We almost wiped ourselves out 3 times in the last century
We are in a very bad condition collectively and we are killing our earth at a frightening rate!

I have no evidence I can give like this but I assure you once one gains an understanding of the real Law of Attraction it will be obvious, as you can look at your passed life experiences and it would just make sense!
And that would be about a 4-10 hour discussion, do get you head around it!

These are found is many other animals, Insects, reptiles, mammals. They have many applications!
God is one smart dude/dudet hey, almost impossible to think all this was Created by an intelligent being, although if she is infinite, he's had a while to learn!

So, prayer is your method of measurement? Good luck with that.
Also it's not that I don't want to believe in souls. I am in the sole interest for what is real. There is no evidence for the existence 'souls'. There for I have rejected such beliefs.
From my point of view with science in mind. There is no such thing as a god, soul or afterlife. Unless you can prove that there are such beings and places?

So, prayer is your method of measurement?
My method of measurement in the Joy, happiness, Love, contentedness I feel growing ever stronger!
Let me give you an example what a prayer really is: if you’re walking down the street and you see an old lady struggling, and you feel compassion for her, even if you can't help. This is what prayer really is, it's an emotion you project of love and compassion for anyone anywhere!
Something else for you to ponder: Every time you sleep, your spirit body separates from your material body and enters the spirit world! You have two types of experiences in your sleep, one is dreams and one is actually sleep state experiences! Ever had a "dream" that felt was really real, good chance it was!
Dreams are designed to help you realize what emotions you are denying! And so need to deal with! Ever had a bad dream, well that emotion you feel about it wants to come out of you, a lot of people try to intellectualize dreams, no need, just feel them!
