I think it was wise to scale it back. For the average gamer, GTA SA was too much. To get 100%, you had to not only finish the super long storyline, but you had to do like 4 hidden package tours (spray tags, horseshoes, pearls, photo op), do all the classes, buy all the businesses/safe houses, win a bunch of money at gambling, pass all the driving schools, win all the races, do the vehicle lists, do a bunch of side quests (trucker, mount chiliad, quarry, courier, etc), do the firefighter/taxi/vigilante missions, plus all of the other shit I can't remember.
It was a lot. I love that, the replay value is still awesome for that reason. But for most, it was an interminable list of shit to do in order to win. I think they kept the best bits in GTA V and added some new stuff as well. I thought GTA V was memorable. I'll never forget Trevor's rampage missions or narrowly sliding through traffic on a NRG-600 at blurry speed with Franklin's special ability. Liked that game, too.

Good to hear, CD. I sincerely hope he is okay. I know he's got a ton of love and support.

Feeling like someone down at the VA needs the shovel treatment for cancelling an important appointment without notifying me.

I. Am. Friggin'. Exhausted.
Manitoba got profoundly snowed on today. After waiting 45 extra minutes for the bus home, I trudged in, kicked a snowdrift away from the front door, set down My purse and lunch bag, and went right back out there to shovel snow for about an hour. I just know those muscles are going to get even. Hopefully I'll be able to roll out of bed tomorrow morning without the resulting scream waking half the neighbourhood.
And what a time to be out of brandy and rum, too -- not a hot toddy ingredient to be had anywhere in the house.

Sad that I'm still alive. Disappointed that I haven't slit my wrists yet.

Yeah. I just, I can't deal with the thoughts in my head anymore. It's getting worse and I feel more trapped.

Dude, go see your GP and maybe they can refer you to a therapist?

What are the thoughts in your head?
