I thought you accepted evolution, just not abiogenesis.
And please, show us your 'monkey-man' sketches beforehand. I haven't seen soulless humanoid brutes since my last drive to Shreveport. It's been too long!
Here's the thing... I've never claimed One or the other. I simply knew what the bible says, and I know what science said. Even if the number's/years science posts are way off, the fossil record is not fully accounted for scripturaly. and like wise there are several paradoxes one could ask from the standard reading of Genesis. That I took issue with.
I simply looked for a way to reconcile both without changing either narrative's stories in any way. Then I was shown away to make it all jive. all it took was questioning the traditional reading, but not changing what was read, just the understanding.
Meaning if you grew up in the church and absolutly needed a way to consolidate every word of Genesis with an unmolested evolutionary model then here is a way to do both. Oh, and by the way it also clears up 1/2 dozen popular 'paradoxes' from the biblical perspective, and can completely assimilate anything 'science adds or takes away' from evolution...
That is what I believe. Not that had to happened one way or the other. If you went back to some of the stuff I wrote before God showed me this, I always use to say I am not smart enough to say one way or another. Maybe both are right maybe neither.
Now.. If you need both to be right then here.. Here is a minimal allowance that will allow for both faith in God and faith in 'garbage science.' or rather the science of prehistoric "garbage" to work.
Monkey man will look and dress like man with a soul.
That's the point.
God made Adam to reflect what evolved man would look like at the time of the fall. The only difference is his soul.
Didn't make adam stronger, better looking or nessarily smarter. Look at all evolved man was able to do in the historical and fossil records. look at the cities and civilizations before 6000BC.
Monkey man or man evolved from primates (only use monkey man to get YOUR goat) IS in fact man. While Adam was created on the 3day Monkey man was created on the 6th day. Monkey man was made in God image/would ultimately look like God, but Adam the first man received a soul/breath of life From God. So not only did Adam look like 'man'/image of God He was also given a soul, that the 6th day man/monkey or woman was not recorded to have.
In the cartoon I was thinking, just marking Adam's people with a little star or light in the middle, but in all other aspects from the outside they would be the same.
Wow. I knew your brain had turned to mush but I never guessed exactly how far down you had gone.

You do know that is straight from the bible right?
I simply call man created on the sixth day monkey man as he was created along with the rest of creation, and adam was created on day 3 in the garden.
To unblow you mind just look at the creation of adam as being separate than man being crated on the 6th day...
See this is why I need a cartoon... Minds with out circuit protection.
I fancy myself as well up on scripture, but could you possibly cite for me the Genesis verse with the phrase 'monkey man' in it? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

We should be so lucky.
If Drich decides to go full Chick, may I suggest possible names for his product? "Drich Droppings" or "Drichtates"?

Most of YOU when trying to grasp or argue against my position, tend to have a less than 'full' understanding of what you think is going on here. I was thinking (As with any form of teaching a group of people) you must start out speaking to the least informed among you.. A little cartoon would do so in this situation, as it is supposed to be simple without sounding too condescending making the more huffy and puffy atheist or christian leave the discussion before you obtain a full understanding.
In short slick, the cartoon ain't for me, as I get it. It's for those of you who don't, and can't get what i am saying through discussion.

God creates two versions of man.
One version was created on Day 6 according to Genesis 1, and one (adam/man with soul) on day 3 as per Genesis 2. Then after creating Adam on Day 3 God places Adam/man with soul in the Garden. While Man simply made in God's image (but did not receive the breath/living soul as Adam did) was left outside the garden to develop/evolve on his own outside the garden.
Monkey man is my term to mock you people. OO OO
Your term is evolved man. In an effort to take creation from God. (which is my reason for mocking you)
God does not use that term either. Just Adam (man made and placed in the Garden of Eden with a living soul) and Man made in God's image outside the garden on Day 6.
Do you get it? Or do you need to just wait for the cartoon?

I'm just dumbstruck... is there anything you can't 'reconcile' with the Bible, Drich? I think I finally understand how you think. I bet you could reconcile the Harry Potter books with the Bible if someone told you they were part of it. In life you gotta realise when a theory is bad... gotta know when to go back to the drawing board rather than endlessly bending over backwards to make it fit. Just my two cents.

Ah, yes, the ol' "monkey man" theory.
A cartoon will totally make that look less stupid.

Well, if it ever materialises I'm gotta watch it alongside Mr Garrison's for comparison and see which is more likely... gonna be a tough call though
