Why are there less female atheists?

I don't think there are. There may be less VOCAL female atheists, but that doesn't mean there are less female atheists out there.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide mankind that cannot be achieved as well or better through secular means.

Are there more male atheists than female?
I'm not sure that there are. But if so, I couldn't explain why.
