Christianity and Suicide

Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?

If you bring arguments like this chrisitians will usaully respond that He is God and He can do whatever the fuck He want's.

I wonder where did the idea of suicide as a sin came from. Whas it in the bible or did it came from the church?

Ancient governments like the Romans had laws against suicide because it messed up the procedures for seizing the dead person's property.

Later on in what's now France the ruler decreed that anyone who committed suicide had to be buried face down.  The government could kill people but it didn't want people to take things into their own hands.  That was the government's job.

Is it really suicide, BTW, if a True Believer swills poison and molests rattle snakes and winds up dead for their fealty ??

Or is it murder on the part of those admonishing the faithful their Holy Book is without error and every word literally true ??
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

God committing suicide is not an argument, it is simply only another mischaracterization in a long line of mischaracterizations by uninformed atheists who are not interested in actually understanding anything for which they rail against. The intellectual integrity here is appallingly low.

If suicide is self-murder and murder is a sin, suicide is a sin. Christians believe that human life has intrinsic value and therefore crimes against that value is sin. I don't believe that Atheists have any basis for assigning intrinsic value to human life.

I'm having some serious deja vu or something.

Thank you for proving what I asked, hell is eternal.

Can you read and understand Revelation 20:14 (DRA)? =  "And hell and death were cast into the pool of fire. This is the second death."

I  could give you many verses that calls hell eternal, but instead let's try this, the second death is the same as the first death, separation from God. Except the second will offer no redemption and thus is eternal.

When you make up bullshit like anything having any intrinsic value, you come across as an uninformed and naive person, regardless of whatever other woo beliefs you hold. And that's why you don't know fucking shit about what you're talking about, ass. I'm not even raising an argument there, I was making fun of how STUPID your whole fucking religion is. Your intellectual integrity isn't just low, it's non-existent. Quit projecting your own fuck-ups and inadequacy as a human being on us, dipshit. And you idiotically proved me RIGHT with the first sentence of your second paragraph, 'tard. And let me guess - you're going to say god can't commit murder because he's god, right? Because otherwise how can you claim Xtians believe that life has an intrinsic value when god so enjoys exterminating it with abandon? You are fucking INSANE to believe this and not see the hypocrisy and impossibility of these propositions. Seek help before it leads you to do something that does destroy your life, if there's a shred of hope you can emancipate yourself, otherwise, go ahead and keep falling down the rabbit hole til you walk into traffic rubbing your finger over your lips, you won't be missed.
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?

Hell is eternal in Islam; it's temporary in the biblical fairy tale.
