How do religious people react to their own arguments?

RE: How do religious people react to their own arguments?
One of the best kick ass and take name passages in the Bible is in the book of Zephaniah.

Zephaniah 1:2-3 (ERV) = "2 The Lord says, “I will destroy everything on earth. 3 I will destroy all the people and all the animals. I will destroy the birds in the air and the fish in the sea. I will destroy the evil people and everything that makes them sin. I will remove all people from the earth.” This is what the Lord said."

Clint Eastwood used a similar threat against the townspeople in the movie "Unforgiven".

LE 26:22 "I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children."
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

LE 26:29, DT 28:53, JE 19:9, EZ 5:8-10 As a punishment, the Lord will cause people to eat the flesh of their own sons and daughters and fathers and friends.

JS 6:21-27 With the Lord's approval, Joshua destroys the city of Jericho--men, women, and children--with the edge of the sword.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Dammit!

I ranted something similar last Friday night after a few drinks!

Now I'll have to pay copyright to god...

...when he comes to collect it in person...

It becomes clear that the tribes in the region weren't very creative in naming themselves...
