As this has been voted on by staff before, yes, the official staff response is that we will keep the post edit limit at 120 mins.

Personally, I can count on one hand the number of times where this has been an issue for someone outside of them having a legitimate reason to edit their posts.

Proofread your posts, or deal with it. Moros explained why it's configured that way and why it's not going to change. It's established policy and you bitching about it isn't going to change it.

Okay, I want to summarize what's happened up until now just to be sure we're all on the same page.

*I can't edit my OP after 120 mins
*I make a request
*Request denied
*Reason is because
1) rules doesn't allow it
2) if you do it for me you'll have to do it for - everybody -
*I make the case rules are supposed to make things easier for posters not harder and reddit works fine without this time limit
*I get told to then go post on reddit (by a admin)
*Steel says it's not even a big deal because he can count on one hand the amount of this problem people have had in the past
*I make the case if it's such a rare occurrence it wouldn't hurt to take requests from users
*CD replies "No, we will not"
