If not for the sauce, I wouldn't eat that

RE: If not for the sauce, I wouldn't eat that
Have to admit, I thought the OP was an innuendo.

I like to season my meat loaf with peppers, dried red pepper, oregano, garlic. Like an elongated meatball. I cover it with a similarly seasoned tomato sauce. A little grated parmesan at the end. Also makes an excellent leftover sandwich and does not require ketchup!

with medical issues and drugs, I'm pretty unsexual these days

with my gall bladder patched up a bit, I am getting a might peckish.

Oh paleese, you guys sweeten everything. Even the spam.

Yes, Hawaii's favorite meat! Do you know they have spam carving contests here? In a Hawaii supermarket, spam is an entire aisle of exotic favors! Do you know that the Hawaii McDonalds Big Breakfast is two egg, two scoops of rice and fried spam? I hate the shit!

I came up with a sauce for ribs using Guinness and ghost pepper jelly--off the charts good!

I always made meatloaf with oatmeal, milk, egg, ketchup (in the mixture), onion, pepper, and spices.
Never had a problem with dryness.

Maybe it's a breadcrumb thing.

I have never had spam in my life.

Even as a starving student, I had my standards!

Sorry. I just realized that post may have come off as a little grainist.
I am not a grainist.

I eat wheat products every day. Some of my favorite foods contain wheat. Honestly.

I had spam musubi from my farmer's market a few weeks ago. Pretty good.

As for my next meatloaf, I think I might try a filler of ritz crackers and left over stuffing. I don't have grape jelly, but, I think, boysenberry? Might be good mixed with ketchup and soy sauce and some sort of peppery element for a sauce.
