I'm currently writing my first book.
It's been going well, but I'm a bit stalled out in the middle of chapter 8.
My problem is not the lack of material, rather too many options of where to go. Can't nail it down in my head.
What's the opposite of 'writer's block'
?

Oh, who cares? You could have written some scribble on a bathroom wall and it's impressive to undertake writing a novel. It literally is something anyone who can string two words together can do. Whether you can do it well is another matter, but I don't think that matters. Whether you write a "good" book or a bad book, you still wrote a book.

Write everything Cin. Take every tangent and explore every arc and..later, pick the ones you like the most in editing. Save all of the rest for some other story, some other time. Nail it down on paper, don't worry about nailing it down in your head.
