RE: Let's Talk About Books
Act now while supplies last!  Wink

When you're internet famous you should totally link the interview.  Then we can all say we knew you when.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Anyway, I am an author of a book. It is a radical book! As it pits Theology vs. Word in just about every biblical subject. It is non-fiction but, many here would argue against that Smile

It trashes theology while showing the treasure of what is written in the autographed language. Obviously, I can't talk to theists about it and it's difficult to talk about with atheists.

I have sold dozens of copies and only one return. The people who have read it say to me it is an awesome book. And that it is a life changer and life charger. Of course, they are theists. One was a former atheist turned theist before I wrote the book who says he has read it now 4 times.

It took decades to prepare and 4yrs to write working night and day. It is 480 Kindle pages condensed down from more then a thousand!

It is currently being reedited getting prepared for print. There is a company that wants to promote in with a 45 minute interview with me and throw it out onto the social media. I am dreading this. Who needs the infamy? It is going to be retitled "The Power of the Universe".

If you care to peek at it:

Congratulations on your book.

After reading the opening to the book, I would buy it solely for the thrill of deleting it.

I love Red Dwarf! So low budget but hilarious! I think I've seen every episode.

My favorite character is His Cat that evolved into a humanoid:

My girlfriend thinks I'm a stalker. Well...she's not my girlfriend "yet".

I discovered a new vitamin that fights cancer. I call it ...B9

I also invented a diet pill. It works great but had to quit taking it because of the side effects. Turns out my penis is larger and my hair grew back. And whoa! If you think my hair is nice!

When does size truly matter? When it's TOO big!

I'm currently working on a new pill I call "Destenze". However...now my shoes don't fit.

I do them, too. My library has a fairly good collection of audiobooks. Admittedly, it's more that I do them while making lunch or eating dinner than while playing videogames in my case.

While driving, while walking, while gaming, while working... Basically any time my hands and eyes are occupied with something that allows me to break of a bit of attention to something else, I'm listening to audio books. Typically I listen at 1.5x-2.0x speed as well (most of the readers read soooooo fucking slow) so I really burn through them. Between audio and ebooks, I can easily get through 200 titles in a year and I've had periods, sometimes quite extended, where I was getting in two audio books/day while still reading 2-3 ebooks each week. My current job is keeping me on pace for only about 150 books and it's killing me. Damn it, I want, no, I need, to know what happens next! Next page, next book, next series, next author... I'm probably more than a little OCD about reading, but it's also the one pleasure I've always had, no matter what else was going on in life. I even have eleven different library cards to all the libraries around the Denver area just to feed my fix. Smile It's also why all three of my user names have been book references.

Aloha and thank you Shell B! On a side note, my mother was proud that I finished something I had started. My wife constantly told me that I would never finish that book. Now that I have finished it, published and released it, there are two people whom refuse to read my book. One is my own mother and the other is my wife.

Currently reading Under The Banner of Heaven about Mormon wackiness. Last fiction I read was the Harry Potter series again, which had new poignancy for me.

You have a problem.
