I have to say that this thread is blowing my mind. It's like reading a thread in Saudi Arabia where people are discussing giving women the right to drive or vote while those who object suggest all kind of bad things that can happen and that what they should really be doing is removing even more rights from women. All the while forgetting that women have the right to vote and drive in the rest of the world without consequence.
Of course this analogy isn't so appropriate now that Saudi Arabia has decided not to be left behind the rest of the world.

I was watching the womens biathalon relay last night. Then I started to become worried. So many guns... what if they decided to turn on the crowd?

You're right. Everyone in that crowd should have had guns. And the audience at home, in case seeing all that violence makes them homicidal.

I bet Trump was the sort of person who watched the crowds getting chewed up at the beach in Jaws and said, "What this movie needs is more sharks!"

An armed police presence MAYBE... The armed officer at the school, Scott Peterson, resigned yesterday amid the revelation that he did not go into the building and engage the shooter. He stayed where it was safe for him while students were being killed. The shooter was well known to the local authorities and the police had been called to his home multiple times. Even the FBI was warned about him. There was a total irresponsible and ineptness of the local authorities and the FBI to act against the shooter before hand when they already had the information on him.

How would the anti second amendment proponents go about getting those off the streets?
