You said women are better at women at endurance running, that's what I disagree with. If the example you're putting forth contains a race where the top 3 competitors were men then it still isn't a good example.
I already provided a race where a female won the whole competition against men, and I still don't think that is enough evidence to say that women are better than men at endurance running because of all the other records smashed by men in endurance running. In itself it isn't...but the fact that a trend expresses itself in endurance events across the boatrd is. The reason, such as it is, the men beat women in physical competitions..to some extent, comes down to the duration of the competition. Women have mor endurance than men, period. It;s biochemical. We can cover for our disprity through violence of action (early aggression securing an early lead, for example)........but that pretty much the same as a short guy in basketball covering for his lack of height by better foot and ball work.
I found some articles that do say women have more endurance than men of a similar athletic ability, more fatty deposits to rely on in a very very long distance run.
Although that doesn't seem to translate to actual records in things like, longest distance ever ran, longest distance ever swam.
There are ultra marathons and men seem to complete them in a quicker time than women usually.
The way I can imagine a woman's endurance working for them athletically is if there was something like an ultra ultra marathon. And even then the world record for the longest distance ever ran is set by a man.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.

Well, I did find that women are actually better than men at open water endurance swimming. Turns out you fuckers can't catch us. Take that.

Although that doesn't seem to translate to actual records in things like, longest distance ever ran, longest distance ever swam. It does, you're not accounting for the overwhelming preponderance of males in sporting events, is all.

-and yet females smoke hundreds of males in those competitions. We refer to some outlying male, in a group of exactly three people, as though they were representative of the gender set. It's hilarious.

There are such events........females are statistically over-represented in their top ranks...............relative to other events, ofc. That's -one- of the practical demonstrations of what we already know about testosterone.
There's no such thing as a free lunch, folks. A higher level of testosterone is useful, that's why we have doping regs (and also why being trans is a fucking non-issue), but...it has negative side effects as well, and in any event where those negative side effects are relevant it would be ludicrous to imagine that nuts are an advantage beyond the arbitrary limits of the competition.

I've always been into sprints and horizontal jumps, but in high school I moved up to the 400m and then tried and loved hurdles, so 400 metre Hurdles is my main event now. Also I focused on the heptathlon for a few years, but it's a bit much to try to train for 7 events at the university level. I've done a lot of cross country too (despite hating it with a passion, I don't know why, but I couldn't bring myself to quit until uni), and last year I was into half-marathon kind of distances. But overall hurdle events are my favorite.
I really wanted to do sprints in track. I was really fast and think I would have done really well in it. But my coach said it would mess up my long distance because you use the muscles differently, and since cross was my main thing, I settled with mid distance. Ahhh... I miss high school so much... I think I'm one of the few people who loved high school lol. And sports was the main reason why.
Sprinting definitely messes up your distance run. I've trained sprints quite intensively since I was 13, and as a result I have very strong leg muscles that are just more to carry when I run distance, which always made me less competitive in high school cross country compared to the girls who were, like, 90 pounds. Track was my main thing, I just did cross largely because the girl's team my age was totally kickass, but they needed a 5th runner, so I got recruited and stuck with it.
Won't argue that sprints aren't fun . Hurdles are even more fun... it's like an art form trying to pull off a perfect race with the stride pattern, and it takes a huge amount of focus in addition to speed. But I kind of like middle distance, too, because it takes more skill during the race to really push yourself.
And I loved high school too. Though university is pretty fun as well, because there's way more freedom. The only stage of life that sounds like a bit of a bore is the 'adult' one.

Can we all agree that ultra marathoners are insane people and shouldn't be counted as humans?

I don't want to do the search for results as it'll most likely prove otherwise, and I really want females to be better at something athletic so I'll take your word for this one.

Maybe it simply means women would survive longer without food because we have more body fat, while men have more muscle mass. But yeah, marathons, which are 26 miles long, men still win and it's not even close: https://www.runnersworld.com/marathon/th...on-courses
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

I have a question for interested males, in this thread. How many of you legitimately think that...if you transitioned...you'd have a shot at a WNBA contact? If so, why, if not, why not?

I hurt my legs because I was a dummy...but..in my opinion,. competition doesn't -start- until the 20 mile mark has been crossed. Until that, it's all leveling the field.
My eldest finished the boston marathon..btw, as a preteen. Super proud absentee daddy. Sprinters can eat a dick.

Don't be a fuckstick. I've done the Googling already. It's not like I'd just make it up to feel like I'm better at something. Being smarter than you all is good enough for me.

Even when I was in shape... I never liked running; just for the sake of running. This is nuts to me!
24-hour run
A special form of ultra marathon is a 24-hour run. Here, the participants have to run as far as possible within 24 hours. The male world record is 303.506 km and was set by Yiannis Kouros and Mami Kudo holds the female record of 252.205 km.
