The best fish I've ever eaten was Golden Tile. Tastes kinda like lobster. I can't say it's my favorite though because I've only had it once. It's difficult to find.

I love grilled dorada (Gilt-head bream) with oil olive and fresh parsley and also baked rainbow trout with carrot and parsley...
Besides i can eat any fish even monkfish which looks awful but taste good... fishes are good!! Tongue

Best bang for your buck has to be grunts.  They taste great...and you can shovel em out of the water with little bits of squid.

I used to really enjoy catching smelt and enjoying the fresh smelt fry as a kid.

Smelt can rarely jump over the first set of rapids upstream from the mouth, which is why the best netting is usually near the lake.  The equipment is simple: a pair of hip boots or waders, a 1ong-handled net, and a bucket for the netted fish.  Wade into the stream near the mouth and sweep your net through water behind riffles, boulders, or anything else that blocks the current and gives smelt a place to rest as they try to swim upstream.  Some people also pull a seine net for smelt along the beach at Park Point in Duluth.

"Sea Bass" often means "whatever we dredged off the reef that looks kind of like a bass".
