How do you imagine the world millions of years from now?

What I think is that very soon US will withdraw into isolationism, abandon all technology, education and just devote to waiting for second coming of Jesus.

Uh, a million years isn't that long in evolutionary time.

True enough, but it only took 2 million years for homo erectus to evolve into sapiens. That's a significant change, and it took place in a relatively static environment: Earth. Add to that the fact that future evolutionary changes might be adaptations to an extraplanetary environment, like a Martian space colony, and the process may occur faster. It's reasonable to expect some significant changes in the appearance of our ancestors if they evolve to adapt to, say, the gravity on Mars.

If we get our political and economic acts together and support science so we learn how to jump hyperspace to get to other planets, that would be way cool.

We'd have to jump or hundreds of generations would spend their entire life time in a space ship. I need to Google and find out how Neil Armstrong and company dealt with cabin fever on their way to the moon. Sorry, I'm just so practical.

I feel that, if humanity stays around for 200 to 300 years, we will have abandoned earth by that time.  So in a million years from now?  No one will have even heard of Earth
As for the last part, I intend to freeze my brain be reanimated whenever the sufficient technology becomes available.  Just need to save up enough money for that first...

I think the world will be gone but we will be like a hoard of cyborgs invading other planets, robot spider type things with brains inside like the creatures from Doom.

I was planning to freeze my brain too, but it seems that the ice will cut through your brain and it will end up as porridge. We need a more... complex way of preserving the brain.
