Prawns. I used to be obsessed with them but now I still like them but only in certain meals and sauces. If they are by themselves I just find them to mild and don't enjoy the texture.

Prawn curry, Prawn cocktail, prawn marie rose sandwich, prawn paella... all that is absolutely divine. Mmm.

But like, say a prawn salad like a prawn cocktail but without any sauce or dressing... like so the main feature is just prawns on their own without a sauce.... so it's the mild relatively nice prawn flavor but it's overwhelembed by the weird super duper prawny texture... it freaks me out and feels ew.

I think it didn't help when I learned that prawns are quite closely related to insects and then I just feel like I'm chewing some sort of beetle when I eat them. Ew.

But the actual flavor is still nice but without a sauce I get way to focused on the texture. Yuck.

If I have prawns with enough tasty sauces I feel like I could train myself to enjoy their texture again.......... maybe. I really need to stop imagining their a bit juicy shelless* beetle when I'm eating them....

I totally forgot: Italian dressing. Much prefer vinegar and oil now.

The Black Eyed Peas. Loved them when I was younger. Think they sound like absolute drivel now.

Still, their early stuff, the stuff I used to like, isn't quite as drivel-y as everything they've done since.

Jamiroquai. Used to like his music. Now it sounds lame as fuck. Although, again, his early stuff sounds likely less lame.

I say 'he'. Should say they. It's a band, the lead singer is actually called Jay Kay.
