Ari arrived from South Korea yesterday and is chilling with her new mom. Unlike some others, she was never in danger from the meat farm scumbags. Her owner developed cancer and turned her over to a Korean rescue group with the expressed intention that they rehome her to the US so she would escape any possibility of such a fate.

From a biological perspective, the meat of a carnivore is more toxic than the meat of a grazer. You don't see much of carnivores eating carnivores except in the sea. Lions and hyenas are great enemies in the wild and male lions will often kill a hyena on sight - but I've never heard of them eating one.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

But in college I had neighbors with really annoying terriers. RE: Eating dogs in China...

Packs of wild dogs is known to have taken down isolated lion and tigers and eaten them. There is one documented case where a pack of 20+ wild dogs stalked and hunted a long Siberian tiger. The tiger killed 14 of the dogs, but the remaining dogs killed and ate the tiger. RE: Eating dogs in China...

Growing up, wild dogs were the thing that scared the shit out of my parents more than snakes and sharks. Dogs scare the shit out of me, personally. One of the reasons I keep dogs is to tell me whether or not there are other dogs around. I;ve had hundreds of stiches on account of dogbites.
