That's the biggest problem I have with PC. It simply won't work. Practices which replace one dogma with another, but don't improve productivity, for example, might mean a redistribution of wealth-- but it will never mean that everyone has enough. The PC left will completely ignore the facts, and therefore demand restitution for this or that group, bigger welfare payments, higher minimum wage, and so on. That's nice, today, but what happens when 300 million people go to the market and discover that there's nothing but an old loaf of bread?

We KNOW what happens. We saw it for the entire second half of the 20th century.

If your ideological position flourishes and becomes the norm, then I'd say that grim outlook is more likely than not to become a reality. I don't think it WILL take hold in that way, since right-wing hysterics approximately balance those of the left-wing in the US, and since there are still plenty of moderates to keep the nutjobs from getting a foothold.

Short answer-- yes. You call everyone under the sun who isn't either black or a SJW "racist," and there are plenty of moderates with concerns about immigration, about the economy, and so on. They might be right about some things, wrong about others, but I don't think the average person is a rabid white supremacist just because they don't match the 10 commandments of the SJW point for point.

I mean, consider honestly all the real solutions I've floated in this thread, many of which are not only not alt-right but not even vaguely right-wing, and you still pretty much have me branded as a witch. Where are you going to find room for dialogue with ANYONE, then, or find ground for making improvements that matter?

Meanwhile, theres still no requirement that I know how to solve the problems created by centuries of malfeasance. We were talking about income disparity.  You say it's due to institutional racism.  I suggested some ways of releasing black prisoners from prison, and ways to generate enough money to pay for increases in minimum wage, which would impact poor black people more than rich whites.

That's a plan.

I suggested that if some of the IQ difference in blacks comes down to health issues-- poor nutrition, disease due to parental drug use, etc. we should address those problems aggressively.  I said that any IQ improvements due to such programs would likely increase productivity, meaning the investment would pay for itself.

There will never be a point at which there's any requirement that I be able to solve racism with a swoosh of my digital pen.  You are being silly.  I'd say that the end of racial myths and enforced inequality is a good start, though. I'd say that the refusal to entertain bullshit complaints of white victimization as a response to both of those things is a necessary endeavor to that end.

The world isn't going to end on account of pc or sj. You aren't going to be strung up in a tree. You get that...right? That's my only goal in this thread, anyway. To one day get it through your skull that somebody's been scaring the living shit out of you for very silly reasons.
