If you want to talk about 'god' then address the concept by its correct label, don't be ambiguous about it.
But I DON'T want to talk about "god". I want to talk about Ultimate Reality. You don't mind, do you?

Carl Sagan never provided any conclusive evidence as to why he believed there is no Afterlife though, did he? So he was merely expressing a blind faith position here. Very unscientific! Deplorable!
Carl Sagan was a genius, you fucking fruit loop.
I don't think you even know who he was. Why would he need faith? He had intellect and a fucking PhD in astronomy. What do you have besides pseudo intellect and the ability to accuse people who have no faith of having faith.
Carl Sagan, blind faith?
You're the guy ignoring facts that don't allign with your afterlife bullshit, and you accuse Carl Sagan of having blind faith. Get bent.
In what sense what Carl Sagan a genius? He wasn't even a good scientist as we can see. But he was an exciting tv presenter - sometimes. It had more to do with the camera work than anything he had to say. I used to turn off his voice and just enjoyed the beautiful pictures of space without the annoyance of him whining on about how he was just bits of dumb matter that would eventually fall apart and disperse - and nothing else. Boring.

Okay Zaki, you don't want to talk about god, which you defined as "ultimate reality" You just want to talk about "ultimate reality". You won't be able to lie your way out of a lie here, sorry.
Frodo, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt, considering the phenomenal number of posts this troll has whipped out repeating exactly the same thing across multiple threads, but you're standing up for a lying douche.

He doesn't need to.
He didn't claim to know with absolute certainty, that there is no afterlife. He disbelieved there is an afterlife.
There is no faith required in disbelieving something for which there is no supporting evidence.
He was being extremely scientific.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

He thinks Carl Sagan was a TV personality= too stupid for me to talk to...
I think Ultimate Reality is whizzing by his tiny little head while he seeks out some mysterious afterlife bullshit.
My theory is that his life fucking sucks and he's hoping when he dies things will be better for him... I know things will certainly be better for the poor fucks he leaves behind.
Ugh sorry I'm in such a pissy mood today. My tolerance for bully bull is LOW today.

Ugh... not this again. He's claiming that something does not exist. It's different from claiming that something does exist.

It's also intellectually dishonest to add emphasis to text you're quoting without indicating that the emphasis is added, and not present in the original text.

Please explain why, if you don't want to talk about "god", that you chose to hijack a thread titled "Science can prove a god must exist".
I suspect I already know the answer.
If you want to talk about "Ultimate Reality", start your own thread and keep your pseudo-philisophical drivel there.
