Why can't they just be honest and say they think it's disgusting or something? Trying to argue against same sex marraige on the grounds of 'tradition' is just plain retarded.
Not to mention the hetero males who like females to play with and penetrate their....well.
And also hetero anal play in totality..that is ALWAYS left out of the equation. Only man on man anal play is considered the most heinous of offenses.
And..to top it off... only the man sucking another mans penis is considered heinous. The one receiving the favors could actually be let off the hook of some of the extremists.
The entire hatred is very specifically focused towards the male that services the other male as if "he were a female". Most everything else is either acceptable or some what acceptable.
The thing is, he isnt a female.
I deduce that those who are homophobic are also HIGHLY likely to also be womanizers and and generally look down upon the "receiving end"
To them, it doesnt matter who is sucking their cock, just as long as it is being sucked...the sucker being inferior to the suckie
To them, it doesnt matter what hole they are in..but that the receptive hole is inferior and should be dominated and looked down upon
All in all, those who look down upon gays are WAY more than likely to treat women like objects, instead of the humans they really are.
Lets look at the facts. they are willing to consider that some humans (gays) are "non-human", and therefore deserve to be treated as inferiors. This will translate over to females as being "gay-like" and thus deserving the same violent/oppresive response.
Its quite disgusting if you ask me..it is ultimately the thought that "Those I fuck are to be looked down upon as inferior"
It is very obvious that homophobes also talk shit about women, calling them stupid and such. Funny that! Apparently the woman who birthed that asshole from her womb was also stupid, making him the product of a "stupid bitch".
Yeah..you go ahead and call women "stupid bitches". that makes you the product of "stupid bitches".
Fucking asshole homophobes and womanizers.

Just because a good reverend is making a ruckus, I changed my vote in the poll to the honest opinion. The balance of the world is now off, so someone else needs to change from support to oppose
Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam

Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word

So essentially it could be viewed that those who oppose gay marriage (meaning Same Sex marriage) are the ones with sexual dominatrix hang ups??
Could be plausible as sex has a long history of being used as a weapon to dominate/ subjugate people.

Nah, people like my gran just think it is totally unnatural. If she didn't make me awesome food then I would slap her about.

Whatever, homosexuality is natural, yet can we say that it's really normal?

Are you asking if we can call it normal, or if bigoted assholes can call it normal? Yes to the former, I defer to you on the latter.

???
My gran is an ignorant racist... Even if she is my gran and I do love her I can still call it as I see it... She is a Catholic creationist, need I say much more?
It isn't disrespectful to call someone what they really are. I respect only those who have earned it. I will not respect someone because of the risk of upsetting others.
I caused a bit of an uproar at a bus stop last week when I told an old man off for a racist comment after an Asian gentleman had passed, he then told me to mind my own business and respect my elders... I won't respect someone due to their age, that is absurd. Respect is earned by actions.

Normal is a rather subjective thing in topics like this. I find it perfectly normal to be gay, but others do not.

Well, if you want to call me that, it's your call, but on what basis do you actually declare it to be normal, may I ask?

And? This really deters you from respecting and loving her?
It's really no reason.
My grandfather hates a lot of people. Not just our ethnic minorities, but most of our neighbors aswell.
And he was also a very harsh military man like his father, and his grandfather, but he was very kind on us.
That man was quite right. Here too, it's very important to respect your elders. And well, being old, they can sometimes act very eccentric. Is this a reason for you to disrespect them? I can't even remember how many times my grandfather hit me with his walking stick for not taking my shoes off before I entered his house.

Why? Respect must be earned... You don't respect someone for a physical trait. That is ridiculous. They can't help being old. They may have lived a long time, but that doesn't mean they have done anything in their lives to warrant respect.
I respect someone because they deserve it, not because some ass says it is tradition and you must.
Racists and bigots don't deserve my respect.

Your grandfather was a racist who didn't like his neighbors. Being a military man means jack shit, dime a dozen. He hit you with a stick for something to do with your shoes? This was traditional in your country eh?
I'm still very happy to be from wherever you're not.
