Do you think you have right to object? Yeah why wouldn't you object? And I guess "you" could argue that making cakes is an art that is very template based--not much creativity--so why wouldn't he make a cake for gays? Then I guess there is a fear there would be repercussions from this decision like some Christians walk to some powerful Jew in Hollywood like JJ Abrams and order from him to make a movie about how great Christians are arguing that he already makes movies by the numbers (templateish) and he can't refuse. And then movie gets out and other Christian denominations watch it and say "This is not real Christianity" and they start WW3.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

You've mixed up the order here. Abrams as a producer would be the customer. You can't make someone buy your shit. Producers aren't in the habit of having customers come in and order movies. There's no store where you can find JJ Abrams behind the counter asking what kind of movie you'd like him to make for you.

I mean he directed Force Awakens after people from Disney ordered it from him with exact movie they wanted (they even had a script). And also not after some other guys refused the job like Guillermo del Toro.

Thy didn't rule in favor of the bakers right to discriminate, Messiah. That's just something that loons say so much and in so many forms of media that non loons think it's true.
The "threat of punishment" being referred to, is having mean words said at ones face by (also-christian) officers of the court, lol. No worries, civil rights are still a thing, for now..lol. In point of fact, if we had a religion of "No blacks aloud" or any other other such trash, we would be compelled to serve them nevertheless. Religious objections, contrary to peoples assumptions....consistently fail. The people who brought that case (and a host of others like it) are a mill. They take in money to keep throwing rocks at the wall. If I had to speculate, I'd say they do so with the maximum amount of cynicism towards the endeavor. Actually winning a case..for real...would be to murder the goose that lays the golden eggs.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I am not saying that I am right but rather "prove me wrong". I guess the main reason we can't understand each other is the notion of baking cakes being an art. Some of you clearly don't think it is and perhaps that's why we don't understand each other, and perhaps this is what we should be debating. And let's presume it is, like Supreme Court says it is (although I myself have a hard time accepting it) then there is no reason not to compare a cake baker with a painter or sculptor or an architect or a film director etc. I mean there is nothing stopping you to pick up Yellow Pages and call some sculptor and order a sculpture which he can reject. Now there is this issue with "he has a bakery shop where everyone can enter" where I guess you're trying to say that people can enter and drink coffee and eat cakes and that these services should not be refused on these ground and I agree, but I've seen many bakeries where you can only enter and order cakes and nothing else, like this one Or maybe these two bakers can't compare to each other since this woman seems much more serious if not more artistic in her work than "that guy"? But then there are also other non artistic services which people can object to do. Like it is now a case with lawyers and Trump, since no respectable lawyer wants to take him as a client.
