Hey, if you had a strong faith and understanding of Scripture, as you say, then you would not be afraid to watch it, but you know very well that a good argument and reading a book on evolution would deflate your religion in an instant, so you avoid it like a plague.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

You assume much more than you actually know or understand, i spent several hours tonight watching science shows on the origin of the universe and guess what not one scientist on the show could admit that the big bang actually happened. I engage in quite a bit of science and listen to the arguments so that I can keep up at least some with what is continually being revamped with plenty of fudge factors as to how the universe was formed and works and also about evolution. You see I'm not afraid of the lies people bring themselves to believe so they can deny God, I know He exists because I know Him through a personal relationship and thus only need to see what the opposition is up to and help those who are being deceived by the lies of today's science. There are many wonderful things happening through good science and that is where today's scientist need to keep things, "in the real world of truth."

And yet you don't know anything about evolution. Go figure.

LOL you can't be serious! Just like you don't take Christians who claim they know Earth is flat from conversations with Jesus, I don't take  your worldview from conversations with Jesus seriously.

Because there is no such thing, no proof has ever been presented.

Totally. Jesus never said the world is flat nor does the Bible, you are so gullible you will believe what people who hate Christianity say, those people who have no idea what the Bible teaches. They just draw junk out of their hats and present it as truth when it is nothing but lies.

Flat Earthers know what Bible teaches better than you because Bible and Jesus did say the Earth is flat

The Bible, or Jesus, doesn't teach that the Earth is flat or square. I did watch what you posted and Stephen Fry didn't even say that. Although I will agree that there is a lot of infantism ingrained into the west's culture preventing a lt of people from accepting that sometimes there isn't always a simple answer.

And side note, yes I am another Christian that believes people can be horribly atrocious and tend to when it benefits them.
"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post

There are hundreds of millions, if not more, of people around the world who will Never, Ever discover Jesus or the Christian faith, and yet STILL be sentenced to eternal torment for not believing in something they've never even heard of according to Christians. WTF? HOW CAN PEOPLE JUSTIFY THAT???

I got off the phone with a family friend yesterday and it turns out that she thinks Christianity (Heaven, Hell, Bible) is bullshit too. I brought this up and she actually AGREED with me.

Skipping the age of modern mass media. It makes no sense, especially in antiquity when there was no writing to condemn any individual for lack of knowledge you as an allegedly "all powerful" being had control over. Even in the age of mass media, the blaming the victim makes even less sense.

If you are the cosmic programmer, if you are the cosmic factory boss, why does your product end up sucking, being confused like your factory loyalists?

Again, GC, you don't know the Bible.

Those are apes and it's you who have problems understanding the words of scripture. This has all been argued here before and the atheist have always come up on the short side of the argument. However if you want to argue this again instead of using a useless picture that atheist produced bring the verses one at a time and we will see just how little you know.
Standing up for people who believe the earth is flat in this day and time and pitting their knowledge against the sound teachings I know is a pitiful attempt on your part, grasping at straws seems to be the best you can do.

"Jesus" also didn't teach that biology was a lie. Old magic book did...but christians aren't exactly shy when it comes to telling jews that they got it wrong...and yet...well, see above.

I did give you the exact verses in the picture, so you're just pretending they don't exist as you do with all other stuff, including Homo Erectus, that mess up your desire to belive in the validity of the Bible.
