Yeah, even assuming that the ancient Israelites were, in fact, black (dark skinned, definitely, but given the nature of the current non-Jewish residents of the area, black may be overstating it), Africa is home to literally THOUSANDS of ethnic groups across the entire continent. To conflate the Israelites and the ethnic groups (largely Western
African) that were actually taken from Africa to eventually become the present-day African-Americans, like Farrakhan does is shockingly lazy. It makes good music if you’re using it as a metaphor, but in a literal historical context, it’s
lazy.
