Well, I did say Republicans and not Republican party because Republicans also need to breathe and just look how Trump is fanatical about lifting car emissions regulations.
But it seems it would also benefit the Republican party since:
"Trump’s takeover of GOP forces many House Republicans to head for the exits"
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/...story.html
So getting rid of trump may not be a bad thing for a whole bevy of little would-be trumps, whose individual political chances would otherwise be stifled by the on-going horror show put on by the big trump.

Will someone please tell the Democrats that Hillary Lost!
Speak English. Or at least speak a foreign language you are competent in, rather than butchering it.
"Tradition" is just a word people use to make themselves feel better about being an asshole.

I think that he's saying Trump won the 2016 election and that because of this, Dems shouldn't give a shit about the rule of law because the Republicans don't, and that he thinks we think Biden's reputation should be sancrosanct. Which we don't.

He is saying he is a moron.
He is concerned that he may not have made that clear with his past ramblings about wave physics and his being protected from bad weather through prayer. So he is restating the case of his being a moron in a different way for those of us who might be slow on the uptake.

If you don' t see how this benefits the ( R )s, you haven't been paying attention.
I think your wish that only the Republicans have untapped constituency that can be riled up to do more evil is becoming transparent.
But it's a wish, not an assessment.

I think you are a brainless prat.
So much for what we think, eh?
One more time for the record - I am not an ( R ), I don't vote ( R ), and you are an idiot to assume that I am.
And I still think Pelosi is a moron.

Maybe sometimes an R sole. :-)

The question is, are these proceedings more like the ones against Nixon or like the one against Clinton?
More like Nixon. MUCH more like Nixon. Nixon tried to cover up the attempt to fix an election. Trump is trying to fix an election.
As I understand it, Mr. Clinton was impeached for perjury and obstruction of justice. No?

2 counts of perjury, and 1 each of abuse of power and obstruction of justice.

Consider the possibility that enough GOP senators want to look clean by voting against him.
