Fox - received a rating of "mixed" - which isn't good
Granted, I suppose you can just dismiss the website as an untrustworthy source - and that's fine. The site lists some of CNN's factual errors, but the stuff Fox got caught lying about is pretty egregious. Not to mention, this...
In all fairness, Fox isn't the only guilty party in the above video.
I don't really watch CNN. I definitely don't watch any of the talking heads.
I usually get my news from places like Reuters or the Associated Press... and use their factual reporting to form my own opinions. Any "news" organization that puts their own spin on stories is suspect, in my book, so I'm careful about being conscious when I read articles and asking myself, "Are the writers trying to push an agenda or is this just an examination of the facts?" If it's the former, I'm a lot less likely to use that news source.

honestly I think it is the news who is trying to destroy this country. look at the riots and the racial tension.. Until trump came around all the would report is white on black violence and this country and black people boiled over into the streets but did not trigger a war. then what did the news do? they rallies all of the disenfranchised bleeding heart white people to try and over turn a duly elected president.
This is all going far beyond fake news.
People make mistakes, even in the news business. That's why they offer corrections after-the-fact.
Who says we assume everything we hear is true? I assume nothing Trump says is true because of his track record of over 12,000 lies and distortions. And yes, I am quite confident Trump lies all the time because often he lies about us Democrats.
We Democrats are not "trying to overturn an election." If anything, the Russians did that. We are trying to impeach and remove a very specific liar and criminal by perfectly legal means. Trump is an incompetent and dangerous president who has violated his Constitutional duties, especially in regards to the separation of powers. He has obviously obstructed justice and is undermining the ability of Congress to perform their duties of oversight.
News people always select certain stories. They have no choice with limited time. But they don't just make things up intentionally, unlike Trump.
Drich, should we assume you don't watch Fox News because of its obvious biases?

My issue with news organizations issuing corrections is how many people are actually reading the corrections versus how many read the original story...?
As journalists, they should be more careful about putting a story out instead of just relying on the ability to put out a correction after the fact.
It seems like, a lot of the time, media outlets race to get the story out, and forget journalistic integrity in the process.

If the President is thrown out of office, it will be the Republicans in the Senate who will cast the deciding votes. They are duly-elected representatives of the American people, and will have the legal right to do so.
That is not what fake news is, Drich. It has a definition, look it up. Hint: 'fake' and 'biased' are not synonyms. Hillary sold America's uranium to the Russians is fake news, focusing coverage on a particular issue for political reasons is bias.
