RE: Creationists! Eat Your Broccoli !

I was leafing through this Ken Ham's Creationist book for kids and let's take this answer from Ken Ham
Now this really is full of nonsenses, like "Because the birds, the flying creatures, were created on Day 5. [...] and dinosaurs on Day 6."
Of course, not all birds are "the flying creatures", there are plenty species of birds that don't fly, so this is one of those nonsenses that you don't need to check in like biology textbooks false, you just need to think a little bit.
So what does this tell us? Really, what? I guess it tells us that Creationists are not allowed to think. But what is perhaps even more disturbing, is that they let Ken Ham dictate them not to think and take his words for granted. So what does that make Ken Ham to them? Some sort of deity?
And then he continues with even more lies like that dinosaurs and birds have completely different bone structure, blood systems, etc.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
