To be clear, I do not agree with OB here. Revenge porn is a crime and a generally shitty thing to do to anyone. *sigh* It's not Trump's politics I have a problem with. It's him as a person. I disliked him very long before he ever entered the political arena. It's not insane to be pretty much fine with an asshole getting some of his own. Let's not forget that Trump has been accused of rape multiple times, and it seems quite likely he's guilty of it at least once. I don't go out of my way to feel bad for predators. I'm sorry if you think that's "insane," but you're very much mistaken if you think my dislike for him is even remotely about his politics. There are plenty of Republicans who support similar politics to Trump that I don't dislike on a personal level.

Let's say by some miracle Trump actually isn't the giant piece of wife-beating, teen-girl raping piece of shit most Americans have known him to be for 20-odd years. I can only think of two reasons for a woman to be involved with that disgusting pig in any sexual manner - one is for profit and the other is not being a willing participant. So, in your mind, accusations of sexual assault or rape make it okay to say youd be happy someone was raped, simply because you assume it to be true?
Is sexual assault the same as rape? Is making inappropriate comments sexual assault? If so, Ive been sexually assaulted. Is being sexually assaulted the same as being raped? Are inappropriate comments made at the water cooler the same as being held down in an alleyway or a bedroom or a basement while someone forces themselves inside of you?
Im not saying Id be surprised if trump was guilty of this. In fact, with so many accusers, im inclined to agree he probably is a fucking creep, at the very least. But to just assume that hes a rapist and say youd be happy if he was raped IS insane. And its bizarre that youre trying to defend your comments.

Nor do I. I agree that legally he has to be found guilty in a court of law, but I'm more than happy to believe the women he has assaulted and not because I don't like Donald Trump. I believe them because false allegations are rare, their testimony is believable, he's openly said things that implicate him, and he's 100% the type.

Yep. Contrary to what you may think, my opinion that it would be funny doesn't actually matter. He's not more likely to get raped, less likely to get justice if such a thing happened or even likely to know I ever had an opinion about him. Bad people deserve bad things to happen to them. I'll never punish anyone for anything, but I'll find amusement in what I damn well please.

Why is it bizarre for me to defend my own comments? I'm perfectly fine being the kind of person who doesn't care about rapists. I'm cool with that. Rapist hit by car? I might laugh. Child predator killed and dumped in an alley? Could illicit a clap from me. You're mistaken if you think I'll ever feel bad for bad people. I simply don't. Of course, it's much more nuanced than did bad thing=bad person, but in the case of repeat offenders of sexual crimes, I'm cool with my feelings on it. You can judge me all you want. I don't care about that, either.
All of that said, I've already pointed out that I don't think anyone should hurt him, get away with hurting him or be punished any less than he deserves to be punished himself. My ideal outcome for situations where anyone is assaulted is that the person be tried, found guilty and given a fair amount of time in prison. I've simply said I might be less than upset if the person being hurt has themselves hurt others. It's not a controversial opinion. I don't support corporal punishment. I just don't give a shit about him or anyone like him.

I didn't at all say my opinion equates a legal judgment. That would be insane. I personally think he did it, which is another thing altogether. I believe his victims.
