"Shoot first" is white privilege.

We live in a nation where a black female EMT gets shot 9 times in a no knock warrant.

We can't vilify a "Country Club Hero" who sports an assault rifle while wearing beige pants and collared shirt. He was just protecting his whiteness. I mean, can you imagine the entry fees for his club if he doesn't defend his turf?
Typical garbage out of your shit.slot.

I'm "white" .. (Kinda on the swarthy end this time of year)

I do not have any privilege to shoot anyone.

If I did - and I couldn't justify it as self defense -  they would stuff me in a fucking cage - most likely for the rest of my.life.

You are an asshat to suggest otherwise.

You do remember who fired first in that case...

No knock warrant,

Gee, if I had a gun and suddenly heard a loud noise in the middle of the night sure, I'd fire first.

You do know they knocked and announced themselves, right?

Yes, because after the fact when you fuck up, you get your ducks in a row.

So do tell, why has this been widely reported as a "no knock warrant"?

Sure they are going  to say that after the fact. They murdered an innocent woman.

The best way to lie is to tell the truth, then SHUT UP. So you see reports that it was a no knock warrant, but you don't see anything else. The warrant didn't require them to knock, they had the option to not not knock. It didn't say "charge the house like a horny rhino."

Obviously they did, or someone wouldn't have ended up dead.

Nice selection bias and sample rate error.

Doesn't matter. "No harm no foul" isn't an argument. Because their thought process and mentality DOES lead to long term discrimination and harm.

FYI merely aiming a firearm at anyone is a crime, you don't have to fire it.

If nobody got hurt, by your logic aiming a firearm at a police officer is also not a crime. Pretty sure you don't buy that.

It’s neither selection bias nor a sample error of any kind. We’re all talking about ONE specific incident. You went off the rails with your comment about trespassing not warranting the death penalty (and I agree that it doesn’t).  But it was stupid to bring that up because no one died in THIS incident.

You can’t possibly know the McCloskey’s thought processes and mentality.

Aiming a firearm at someone is not always a crime (for example, if you’re in fear of your life). You can’t know that this wasn’t the case here.

I think cops need firearms aimed at them more often. Shows what YOU know.

Doesn't matter who shoots first in castle doctrine states. Any cop in a castle doctrine state executing a no knock warrant should learn to love the law, and accept the fact that they will eventually be gunned down by a homeowner who will skate on criminal and civil charges.

We are trying to see if Brian has any idea who shot first.  His lack of an answer indicates that he doesn't.
