I forget the show, maybe it was Faze the Nation. Anyway, he was talking about getting rid of "Entitlements" way back in February. I mentioned this in my carving class, and a lot of people got pissed. Some of them thought that that was things like supporting welfare queens, but I carefully explained about medicare and SS. The crazy sonofabitch didn't get my vote the first time. All the people in the class who worship him hopefully wake up. Of course, California is a major blue state, so their vote gets swamped anyway.
 I seriously hope that the older population in other states is or gets educated on this.

The right has been running on cutting entitlements forever, and the base votes for it. Maybe they just want to see if the US is ready to hear the quiet parts out loud.
