As TGN said, currency is changed pretty frequently - the size of the portraits, the obverse of coins, etc. The only change you're objecting to is putting a woman on a bill.
Interesting aside: Jackson would likely have objected to his portrait on the twenty (I just learned that he was dead set against the idea of paper money).

If we define anything which might resemble sense as emotionally inspired codswollop and anything that stans for white supremacy as reason...I think we may have found our problem.

Does anyone really buy the idea that if they replaced Andrew Jackson with another old white guy OLB would be complaining? Because I don't.

I really don't get why this would be a controversy. In Canada, we swap the pictures on money all the time.

For the same reason idiots insist on keeping statues of those who fought to keep slavery, or don't want military bases or high schools renamed.
It isn't a controversy as much as it is asshole bigots refuse to accept they are on the wrong side of history.

It isn't, and we mess around with our cash too. It's a product of the very specific way that white supremacy has been packaged and sold of late. The fuck your feelings, reason/emotion dichotomy. Poor ws marks get all pissy when it's pointed out that they're aping the ws talking points , thinking that they aren't ws themselves...which may have been true at some point, but isn't really the case at the point that they become an active disseminator.
It's been a strange few years watching this go down. On the one hand, it feels more and more like home all the time, but on the other, it feels more and more like home all the time.

And other than self congratulatory shit snivel - we see no REASON why this change is being made now....
Safe bet - no REASON will be forthcoming. Just more insults from the mob....

Right, because, again, any and every reason that a government might want to do this is emotional, white supremacy is reasonable.
Fact is, we can and do change our money. It could all be covered in birds if we wanted, or, maybe, dead old white men who weren't completely fucking terrible, at least? It's not like there's a shortage. Would that calm your certainly non-racist and thoroughly non-emotional concerns about the picture on a piece of cash?

If your panties get wadded up your ass any further you're going to need surgery to remove them.
.....
Who is on US currency.?
Founding fathers and dead presidents....
And Sacagawea. Yeah that went well....
....
Exactly what is white supremeist about historical fact?
....
When President Obama dies - it would be absolutely appropriate to put him on a bill. With the rate of inflation - they probably will need to bring back the $1000 bill... I nominate him for that....
When a woman becomes president _ she can be similarly acknowledged.
Mrs Tubman was a great person. But she wasn't a founding father or a President.
