I even fear getting shot by an anti masker in public where I live. I've been yelled at for backing away, not even saying anything, by someone who took offense to the fact I simply walked away from them because they were not wearing a mask. I'd hate to run into a disturbed gun nut who also was anti mask.
America averages almost 100 firearm deaths, of all kinds per day. No other western wealthy nation allies comes close to that. So in that context, I think it is a distraction to talk about size or type. In that context I don't give a shit. The issue isn't banning all firearms, the real focus should be public safety and not making it so easy to buy them.
America needs to put public safety over the profits of one industry.
And yet each time you vote ( D ) gun sales increase. That' s a fact not an opinion.
So apparently you REALLY want increased sales.
You have lots of stock in S&W?
Yes, it’s a fact. Because gun owners have bought into the myth that democrats are going to disarm them.
Another fact is that Obama was more friendly to gun rights than Trump, which tells me that gun owners don’t have much in the way of political savvy.

Boru It is not a myth.
We just have a difference about the term " disarm".
Restricting the types of personal arms a law abiding citizen can own is " disarming" as far as I am concerned.
...
I do agree with you about the Obama vs Trump in relation to gun rights.
This explains why I DID vote for President Obama (2nd term) and did NOT (ever) vote for President Trump.

Then we've all already been disarmed. Nobody has a davy crocket. I can't even get a piddly ass machine gun without dancing like a trained bear and reaching deep into pocket. I'm not personally thrilled with that state of affairs, but having used one in urban settings many times, I understand why we probably don't want them proliferating in our streets. Been that way since 1934. Welcome to dystopia?
Rights carry restrictions. You can have a grudge against words, but that's all you'd be doing.

Who gives a fuck? America averages almost 100 firearm deaths per day. From handgunds to assault spray weapons. How about you stop using your bullshit bait and switch and poor me, and "tyranny" crap, and LISTEN.
Firarm safety advocates ARE NOT looking to create a facist state. We simply recognize our current system isn't working, and the volume of firearms sold are a problem. NOBODY IS OUT TO GET YOU for wanting less firearm death.

It is for people who want other people to live without their right to have a gun. also know in rural areas it can take over an hour for police to respond. in my neck of the woods for instance there are only two sheriff deputies that patrol 150 square area. if you call one and he is on the other end of the patrol route it can take over an hour. not to mention wild life. we have 75lb coyotes/mix breed monsters who hunt in packs, in addition to live stock it would not take but two or three of these monsters to kill a person. what are you antigun people going to do went 6 monster coyotes decide youre din' nah? take and reason with him? call a cop? call your social worker? roll over and die? Your little blanket life style does not fit everyone on the planet, hell it doesn't really even work unless you live in one of a few dozen cities. the united states is more than the population totals on our west and east coasts.

Neither of those links supports your contention of $800-$1200 per weapon or $800 per magazine. The NFA tax is $200 (an amount which hasn’t changed since 1934). What Biden is proposing is an expansion of it to cover other weapons, and it is not at all clear whether it will be on a per-unit or per-owner basis. And the kicker is that Biden is making paying the tax purely voluntary.
So, you’re wrong again.
Boru
and you are wrong as both of the articles suggest that the total tax for gun and mags would average around 1000.00 for the average gun owner. (1000 is a number between 800 and 1200) not only that you were way off. even though i might have confused the total pricing i was right about the tax. meanwhile you were way off in left field talking about seizure programs.

The $1,000 is in reference to a hypothetical case of the total for one AR-15 and four magazines together. Unfortunately for you, you said that it would be $800-1,200 for a single rifle and $800 for a magazine (see below). That's not at all the same thing. So you are wrong as usual and trying to retcon the numbers. You're pathetic.

I can even point you to on line resources to help you find parts ammo and even firearms. This is more of something i enjoy, and would like to share it with anyone thinking about a gun, seeings how the police are leaving in droves under threat of being defunded, and or being replaced with unarmed social workers.
I do not want this turn into a gun debate.. this is more of a technical q&a
Yea well, too bad. We have a flooded market. I never get a good answer from the right as to how many would be enough. 1 billion guns? 10 billion guns? 50 billion guns?
I could give a sh*t less about size or type.
it depends on the individual, as guns are nothing more than tools. a life long technician can accumulate so many tools they need massive tool storage systems than can cost well over 50k. not to mention the tools it take to fill those boxes. while some handy man home owner could fit evertool he will ever need in a box small enough for him to carry around. asking how many guns are enough depends again on the owner. some like i did in the beginning collected them for the history so to have or own a gun from ever major us era was the goal. plus a hunting rifle and a self defense hand gun. because to me to hold and fire a gun from the civil war or the wild west wwi or wwii connected me to our past, as you feel what they felt smell what they smelled, get to share an experience. plus it is fun to shoot from the hip like they do in the movies to see if you can hit anything.
Others with way more money go deeper. while most look to have a conceal carry, home defense and maybe something for a bug out situation as a conceal carry is practically effective for 10 yards or less, shot gun MAYBE 25, while an ar good between 55 and 250 while a hunting rifle can reachout at 1000+
again it depends of what individuals need their guns for.. round the farm 22LR and 22 mag are the king as it is a great varmint round. while a .38 .357 carbine would make a great coyote/deer gun. then ar-15 great anti bad guy gun, also good for bear and deer. now multiply my metric/need times about 350 million people and that is how many guns we need. as we all have the right to fill our needs for firearms anyway we see fit and are not conformed to fit the need of someone who live under the protection of his mother in her basement.

i thought so too.. problem is all the distributors are sold out of everything.. no guns availed no bullets.. you can buy holsters, slings, optics and magazines. you gotta get creative otherwise you'll go outta business because you have nothing to sell. which is why me having inventory is little bit of a big deal
That's local, and..hilariously, an effect of the magats hording and profiteering.
actually we are told that the vast majority of the new gun buyers were fence sitting dims and dims left of center. as most of us reps are and have been well armed from jump.. if anything we contribute to the problem everytime there is movement in the market we panic buy ammo.. but new guns sales looks to be center left-lefties.

Most people, full stop, are fence sitting dems, and dems left of center. Think about that for a minute.
If you're marketing anything to anyone, there's a larger pool of them, than us. Us..being everything else. If you were smart, you'll apply this to your marketing immediately. You aren't, so you won't, and you'll make less money on account of it. You'll believe all sorts of hilariously weird shit as an explanation of why you made less money than you could. I deal with that all the time.
