I thought the only way to ensure a certain level of tastiness from the chicken meant resorting to cannibalism with the chicken feed.

I don't really have the right setup to do fried chicken at home (don't have a large enough deep fryer), so most of our home-cooked chicken is done in the oven.  (I do, however, have a great way of doing Buffalo wings in a very hot oven (coat with cornstarch/salt/pepper mixture and bake at 475°F for 30 minutes), and they do have a crispy fried-chicken finish).

Check out the recipes for pan fried chicken on YouTube. There are dozens of them.  There are recipes for oven fried chicken too. Hungry
