Religion is poison to democracy

The hoomans do not wish to be cured.

Delusional fantasy is infinitely superior to the hollow, empty drudgery of my inconsequential existence.

Religions aren't democratic. They certainly don't preach/teach being democratic. That religion is poison to democracy is so obvious that a report about it seems like a waste of time.

Religions have a ruler - the top dawg - that's not democracy. DUH

In other news, water is wet.

being undemocratic is not an incidental feature but central essence of religion-ness.   religionness is the assertion without evidence a dogma, and leveraging if that dogma to attain at least social, but most likely also political abs economic power by excluding evidence and other dogma.

Yeah, the Bible is constantly pushing the idea of one ruler chosen by God, while the people are too sinful, wicked, and stupid to govern themselves. And since the Quran is pretty much a copy of the Bible, this Muslim concluded that the people are retarded.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Either way, you're on the wrong path.

There are denominations of Chrisitanity (congregatinalist) and at least one religion run democratically (Unitarian Universalism). If they can get the other 99.95% of religion to join them, that would likely be an improvement.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
