Gnosticism is really not typical. Most Christians don't even know what it is.

Most christians have no idea what christianity is. I don't think your complete lack of any spine or the more general tendency for religious ignorance marks you out as special.

Having a spine is overrated. The hyper individualistic, try-hard ethos is just not for me.

I think it's a misunderstanding of something our brain does. If I ask you what you're even asking me about and you say that you picked a snickers from all the candy bars in the vending machine - yeah..sure. I think that's a real thing.
