I get the feeling that people don't realize there was already a public website that "exposed" usaid funding. There were watchdogs responsible for it too. Donald is firing them.
Meanwhile, donald and musk are lying about usaid, and lying about it in a trivially easy way to disprove. They know the magats wont check their work, ofc, so this amounts to a show of contempt for their base. There's nothing good about any of it.

People are believing things because the things that they're believing make them feel good, rather than there being robust reasons for belief. As has been noted by studies, those persons whose beliefs align with political conservatism, such as Bel, are more likely to get their information from low quality sources, and more likely to find misinformation credible.

The fed is shuttering the ev station program. This is no small issue. The infrastructure for ice vehicles that allowed them to become central to our development strategy and useful on a practical basis did not grow organically. The fed created a program to put pumps across the nation..and the same will have to happen for evs for them to be more than garage queens. As per usual, this is aimed at owning the libs, but will hurt red state voters the most. From donalds end, it's just more money to untether from a program so they can better loot it.

The idea that there would be mom and pop chargers competing with tesla probably keeps elmo awake at night. He knows his business is already insolvent behind layers of accounting and a hoped-for-coup, doesn't need all that noise.
