I suspect that Trump has never read War and Peace, but Putin probably has. I don't know anything about military strategy, so I was surprised by the story. Tolstoy's characters are fictional, but apparently the war he describes is historically pretty accurate.

When Napoleon invades Russia, the aristocratic Russian officers are eager to make a glorious attack. Of course they are all slaughtered immediately. This leaves the army under the command of a fat old general who has seen it all. His strategy is to do as little as possible, retreat a lot, and let time and numbers work for him. Eventually he is woken up from his afternoon nap to be told that Napoleon has admitted defeat and left Russia.

So we all know that Putin is stupid crazy super-evil Satan double-Hitler, but he's about to get everything he wanted. Despite being completely out of soldiers and equipped with inferior equipment (so I'm told) he's won. And Zelensky isn't invited to the grown-ups' table.

I just farted. This is as close as I can get to giving a shit about your hideously ignorant analysis.

I second the motion.

Let's put it to a vote.

It's sad, because in most of the world if you ask which country is illegally violating borders, taking land by violence, and oppressing the natives of the occupied areas, people will of course answer "Israel." With the logistical, financial, and material assistance of the United States.

In Brooklyn this week they had an event where they were selling off stolen parts of the West Bank.

You have to admire how Belacqua blames every war ever fought on the USA. Or not. He's just copy/ pasting from terrorist websites.

Like his whataboutism about the selling of Palestinian land in Brooklyn is a hoax purported by violent anti Israel activists who descended into Brooklyn.

Quote:While none of the properties being sold were outside official Israeli territory, furious protesters descended on the event regardless, describing their rally as a “flood” in possible reference to the Hamas name for the attack on Oct. 7, 2023, “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.”

The PAL-Awda protesters declared the Real Estate Expo, held by broker firm the Getter Group, as illegal. They accused organizers of "selling land in occupied Palestine," yet simultaneously chanted protesters telling the gathered Jewish community, “settlers, settlers go back home, Palestine is ours alone,” according to The Times of Israel.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I find the statement that Trump probably never read 'War and Peace' to be hysterical. I doubt Trump has ever even read a menu.

Could you show us the research that demonstrates what "most of the world" thinks on this please?

What a truly ludicrous piece of unevidenced hyperbole, surely this topic deserves more than simply picking a side, and rehashing the most extreme rhetoric.

Others have covered this one, again instead of rehashing claims, it might be an idea to fact check them,  and of course offer proper context.

If you think Trump is a "grown-up", you appear lacking when it comes to character insight.

And if you think peace in Ukraine can be had without Ukraine's buy-in, you're a bigger fool than you seem.

Only because Trump is in his pocket. Also, he hasn't won anything yet, so put your dick back in your pants.

Also, Trumps a toddler in a man's body
